The Rangers are 7-7

Robbie Ross was absolutely fantastic tonight, and I'm not sure the Rangers could have possibly expected this type of performance. Yes, it's still the Mariners, but anytime a pitcher can get through the opposing lineup without giving up runs, it's acceptable, and in this case, superb.

Prince Fielder finally got his first home run of the season, Kevin Kouzmanoff proceeded to shine in Adrian Beltre's absence, and perhaps Kouz can hold his own until April 25 when Beltre can return.

The defense was much better tonight than last night. Two ninth-inning plays by Alex Rios and Shin-Soo Choo helped Neal Cotts close out the game, but the show-stopper tonight was none other than Elvis Andrus. This is why he gets paid the big bucks, folks.
