Another Twist in the Ron Washington Story

Tonight, Jamie Kelly, the founder of The Scoop Sports, has brought another piece of information to light regarding Ron Washington.

According to Kelly, via a source, Washington is facing legal issues stemming from alleged sexual assault of an Asian reporter.

Over the weekend, there was chatter about lawyers being present at the time that Washington resigned, and the only "mainstream" source that was talking about it was, apparently, Dale Hansen.

With this, it would seem that the full puzzle is starting to come together, painting a picture of a manager that was distressed on many different fronts. If this report is indeed true -- and I have no reason to doubt it -- then we can only hope that the allegations are proven to be false in nature. Regardless, it's a disturbing twist in what has already been a mysterious story.
