Adrian Beltre, Rangers Agree to Contract Extension
/Well, after weeks of speculation, and after it looked as if the Rangers just might let Adrian Beltre test the market after this season, T.R. Sullivan has given us a fantastic piece of news this evening.
Rangers have two-year extension done with Adrian Beltre

Per Sullivan, the deal is for 2 years at $18 million a year. It's less than the reported 3-year, $19-20 million per year he was seeking, so overall, this has to be considered a win for the Texas front office. Furthermore, it means that Beltre sacrificed a little financially in order to likely finish his career in Texas.
In celebration, enjoy a GIF of Beltre having some fun in last night's game.
